This fantastic montañes style house has just been renovated and divided in two big houses of 300 m2 each with a garden of 300 m2 as well for each house, located in a tiny village in the area of Cabuerniga (well known for its architecture and gastronomy), in a very quiet spot with stunning views to the mountains and forests that belong to the natural reservation of Hunting and fishing of Saja. A natural paradise in Cantabria. The works have been made by a well known builder in the area, dedicated for years to renovate this kind of houses, for that reason the work has been made really well. This is a house of over 200 years old, but know that the renovation has been finished it has the commodities of a modern house with the taste of a rural one. Description of House 1 located on the right: As soon as we go into the big porch we have the doors of both houses, we go through the one located on the left, a short corridor lead us to a sitting room and dinning area of big dimensions (55 m2), with an fire place and views to the wooden timbers of the ceiling, as this area is opened to the top of the house to give the sensation of more room and luminosity. The floors on this area are made in handmade boiled mud, the switches are made in porcelain, as the old ones and they are from the house Fontinni, the heaters are iron in white colour, some oak timbers were recuperated from the old house and used in different details, but the whole roof in both houses is completely new with new timbers. Windows in Cerejeira and double glass. Going on with the description of this floor, we have on the left of the dinning area, a toilette and then the rustic kitchen that is half equipped: oven, vitroceramica, sink and an original window that communicates with the “portalon” at the entrance. Again in the sitting room, we have the staircases on the left and we go into the first floor where we find a hall and access to a bedroom with a window and nice views to the garden and mountains, private bathroom. The following bedroom with a fully equipped bathroom with a shower and sink made in brick, orange colour in this bathroom, then a bigger bedroom with a balcony and good views to the mountains as well. The roof has the isolation of 5, compression cover, hidrofugo pieces of wood and tiles of the Arabian type. There are two other bedrooms with smaller windows. Velux. Pine doors in the whole house, the staircases are also made in pine. The garden is 300 m2 big, is totally enclosed, there is a rustic stone building half for this house and half for the other one, to keep the heater, gas oil deposit and storage other things. The house is located in a very quiet spot at the end of the village. Description of house 2 on the right: In this house we have the entrance in the same portalon and as soon as we go in, we have the staircases on the right and a big sitting room of 55 m2, with exit to the garden and fire place, the floors here are the same as the other house, the garden is divided in two levels and has half of the stone building to keep heater, gas oil deposit (1.000 litres). Coming back to the house we have a rustic style kitchen with two windows one of them communicating with the outside entrance of the house “portalon”. A toilette. The staircases are also in pine and painted in oak colour, the floors on the following areas are also in pine of 14 cm. On the first floor we have the main bedroom in two levels and exit to the balcony, nice views to the mountains from here, bathroom in dark red colour and shower, then another smaller bedroom also communicating with balcony. Another bathroom that gives service to both smaller bedrooms, and a bedroom with its own bathroom in blue colours. In the next floor we have the attic, totally open planned giving us the possibility of dividing it in more bedrooms or leave it as it is now and having a studio, sitting room etc…. very nice area.
